Robert Philpot is a journalist, editor and speechwriter with over 20 years' experience. He has worked across a range of different publications - including magazines and newspapers, books, and think-tank and professional association publications - and with senior politicians, including Cabinet ministers. 

He covers the UK for the Times of Israel, writes regularly for the Jewish Chronicle, and has had bylines in The Spectator, New Statesman, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Times, Jerusalem Post, The Guardian, Standpoint, The Tablet, The Forward, Commentary, Total Politics, and History Today. He mainly writes about British and American politics and history. He has interviewed politicians, novelists, academics, playwrights and filmmakers.

He also works with campaign groups, politicians, professional associations, and think-tanks, writing articles and speeches and providing communications support and editorial services.

He is a former editor of Progress magazine and was also commissioning editor for the think-tank, Policy Network. He also previously served as a special adviser in the Northern Ireland Office and Cabinet Office.
