Robert is a journalist, editor and speechwriter with over 20 years' experience. He works with campaign groups, politicians, professional associations, and think-tanks, writing articles and speeches and providing communications support and editorial services.

Speechwriting services

Robert has worked with Cabinet ministers and senior politicians on everything from short introductory remarks to lectures and keynote speeches. Whether you’re looking to commission a speech written from scratch or need help polishing and refining an existing draft, he has significant experience across a wide range of subjects and would be happy to help.

Editing and copywriting services

Robert has worked with and for magazines, think-tanks, professional associations and campaign groups providing editorial services. Whether you’re looking for someone to write the copy for an article, pamphlet, report or book, or require an existing draft or manuscript to be edited or proofed, he can assist.

Article commissions

Robert works as a freelance journalist. He covers the UK for the Times of Israel, writes regularly for the Jewish Chronicle, and has had bylines in The Spectator, New Statesman, Sunday Times, Jerusalem Post, The Guardian, Standpoint, The Tablet, The Forward, Commentary, Total Politics, and History Today. He is the former editor of Progress magazine and was also commissioning editor for the think-tank, Policy Network. He mainly writes about British and American politics and history. He has interviewed politicians, novelists, academics, playwrights and filmmakers. He is available for commissions.
